P-Wonda (Pierre Conway) was born in Greensboro, NC, and raised in Petersburg, VA. From a young age, Hip-Hop has been his passion. He gained recognition from Waleed Coyote (CEO of Othaz Records) and began making significant strides in the music industry. P-Wonda has been hustling in the music scene since 2003, traveling with notable artists such as Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony and DMX.
His debut single, “Bitch I Do Numbers,” was featured on the Arab Radio Mix Tape 2009, hosted by Busta Rhymes, and gained popularity across the south and east coast in clubs and college parties. In 2009, P-Wonda was featured on the cover of Ozone Magazine (Myrtle Beach Edition) and was highlighted as “Heater of the Day” on Allhiphop.com four times.
P-Wonda’s second single, “Roc Wit U,” featured Ricco Barrino and was remixed by Ace Hood and Busta Rhymes. He changed the Carolina Music scene with his mixtape, Wondabread edition Hosted by Dj Holiday, while working on his debut LP, The Wonder Years. Known for his hard work, P-Wonda has toured with Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony, performing as the group's special guest. Despite the challenges of touring and long hours, he remains dedicated to connecting with fans and building his presence online.
P-Wonda founded Ooh Wee Da Label in partnership with Othaz Records and Empire Distribution. As CEO, he not only continues to write and create music but also takes on executive responsibilities, including marketing, promotions, A&R, and serving as a liaison for the Carolina region. His growing fan base and impressive career trajectory underscore his rising status in the Hip-Hop world.
